Green Finance Framework

Fingrid Oyj has established a Green Finance Framework under which it can issue green finance instruments to finance and/or refinance green eligible projects with a positive environmental benefit.

The Green Finance Framework defines the portfolio of projects eligible to be funded by the proceeds of Green Finance Instruments issued by Fingrid.

The Green Finance Framework is based on the ICMA Green Bond Principles 2021, including the updated Appendix I of June 2022 and LMA/APLMA/LSTA Green Loan Principles 2023.

The Framework also follows the recommendations of the Green Bond Principles regarding External Review.
